Probing Galaxy Evolution and Cosmology with Reverberation Mapping Methods
Presented by Kelly Denney -- Host: Roberto Assef

Abstract
I will discuss the diverse applications of reverberation mapping, including recent improvements and applications to studies of galaxy evolution and cosmology. Some of these topics include (1) direct black hole mass measurements, (2) improvements in the radius-luminosity relationship and its applications to single epoch mass measurements and AGN distance measurements, and (3) improvements in the CIV-based single-epoch black hole mass measurements most commonly used to probe the high-redshift universe.
