Star Formation in Orion
Presented by John Bally -- Host Olivier Dore

Thursday, March 14, 2013
4:00 P.M. in 169-336

Abstract
I will review star and planet formation in the nearby Orion complex and the extent to which it is representative of the type of environment in which most planetary systems form. I will highlight near-IR adaptive optics imaging of the explosive OMC1 outflow and what it teaches us about the physics of massive star formation.
